Dive #1:
The 'String of Pearls' Night Dive

This phenomenon is only found in southern Belize & is the most surreal dive.
Get ready for an underwater light-show party!
Feel like an astronaut as you swim through thousands of phosphorescent strings of light which dance every which way underwater to deliver the most amazing natural light show!
This dive can only be witnessed immediately following the full moon, thus determining the trip dates.
Some common reaction to this dive include:
"Trippy!"
"Strings of light, up to 20 in a row, bolting in different directions which light up like Christmas chaser lights."
"It's like a 3-D planetarium, with millions of elusive stars flying in front of you, but you are not able to touch them."
"It is like swimming through the milky way."
"Out of this world, seriously!"

Then we are off to the lovely little island of Caye Caulker in northern Belize which will be our launching pad to dive the Big Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll.

Dive #2:
The Blue Hole

This is undisputably one of the best dives in the world!
It is both a mystical & a magical experience.
Even Jacques Cousteau says it is in his top four dives on the planet!
It is 1000 feet across and 480 feet deep.
The depth gives the hole the deep aquamarine colour.
There are a handful of other blue holes in the world, yet none compare to this one.
It is also known as 'The Big Blue Hole' and 'The Great Blue Hole'.
This dive is for extreme thrill seekers only.

Dive into ancient history. The Blue Hole is an ancient geological wonder of the world! Millions of years ago, it was a massive dry cave during the last ice age. When sea levels rose, the weight of the water caused the roof of the cave to collapse. It is also one of the few natural wonders of the world that can be seen from outer space.

Imagine yourself plunging 140 feet deep into the blue, then just when you reach your maximum depth, these massive underhanging stalagtite pinnacles beg you to swim through them. Now check this out... Get greeted by Caribbean reef sharks, tarpon, massive groupers, and maybe even bull sharks on your way back up from the depths!

After diving that majestic natural wonder, we are off to see the best assortment of coral and fish that Belize has to offer. We will do 2 more dives on Turneffe Atoll and have lunch on Half Moon Caye, (which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Caye Caulker has tons of other activities we will have time to enjoy such as: sailing, manatee watching, petting stingrays, feeding crocodiles and karaoke.

Our last spot on the trip takes us to magical Tulum, Mexico.

Dive #3:
Cenote diving on the Mayan Riveira

Cenote diving is undisputably one the most spectacular adventures that a diver can ever experience. And the cenotes found in the Yucatan are considered to be the best cavern diving in the world! Experience 500 feet+ visibility so clear that you may just be fooled to think you are flying under the surface.

There are dozens of different cenotes to suit different skill levels.

Most cenotes do offer: haloclines, hundreds of stalagtite and stalagmite formations, fossils and amazing light laser shows not witnessed anywhere else on this planet.

We will finish off the trip by visiting the only beach-front Mayan ruins in the world, and soaking up the sun on one of the best beaches.
If you can handle some more excitement, I would love to take you on a jungle adventure to some other must-see places. The 5 day extension includes: visiting 3 waterfalls in western Belize, a day of cave-tubing, watching the sunrise over the pyramids of Tikal (which are the largest and most amazing Mayan ruins in the world), exploring the lovely colonial town of Flores and learning all about traditional medicines derived from the flora of the jungle.
